Chinese New Year in the International District
This year we went to the Chinese New Year celebrations in the International District.

| We ran into several dragons. |

| And they danced! |

| She couldn't believe her eyes. |

| A real, live dragon. |

| "There is a girl inside the Dragon!" (Actual quote. How is my baby old enough?) |

| Ava was not so sure about the fireworks. "They are a little scary." (Yep, she said that one, too. Makes me sad to have my baby say such grown-up things. It is all happening too fast). |

| We had a good time making a lantern in the pavilion. |

| Ela didn't react too much to the fireworks or the dragons. But she was very into the cuddles. |

| Not exactly traditional, but a pink cake-pop is a fine ending to any dance party. |
